Here’s a new editorial Illustration for New York Spirit Magazine, for an opinion article questioning the competence of United States military and intelligence services, and suggesting that we might be wasting way too much money on them for little return on our investment.
After working out several more complex concepts, I settled on a simpler approach that offered a quick and straightforward read on the topic, portraying the Pentagon building as a money shredder. I really enjoy trying to break things down to the cleanest, most basic image, while turning an abstract concept into something physical.
Thanks to Art Director Paul English for the call.
